Artwork & Proofs
Good files print beautifully. Here is exactly what we need, what the ball can hold, and how approval works.

Preferred file formats
- Best: vector artwork as SVG or PDF, with text converted to outlines.
- Also good: high-resolution PNG with a transparent background.
- Harder to use: screenshots, social media exports, low-resolution JPGs, and images with a white box behind the logo.
If your file needs cleanup, we will tell you before production and, where practical, do light preparation so it prints well at ball scale.
Print area and scale
A golf ball is small and curved, so the usable print area is limited. Fine lines, small text, tight gradients, dense detail, and thin outlines can fill in or drop out at this size. Designs are scaled and positioned to fit the print area, which may mean simplifying or cropping elements. Dimples create a textured surface, so edges are never as crisp as they are on flat paper.
Color expectations
Screens emit light and printers apply ink, so colors will not match a monitor exactly. Monitor calibration, brand color systems, ink behavior on a curved surface, and ball material all affect the final result. We aim for a close, brand-appropriate match rather than an exact color match, and we cannot guarantee an exact match to a specific brand color reference.
Digital previews are approximate
Previews in our designer and in emailed proofs are simulations. They show placement, scale, and general appearance. They are not a color-accurate or texture-accurate reproduction of the printed ball.
Your rights to the artwork
By submitting artwork you confirm you own it or have permission to use and reproduce it, including logos, sponsor marks, photographs, team or club marks, and licensed characters. You are responsible for confirming spelling, names, dates, scores, and every other detail in your design. We may decline artwork we believe infringes rights or violates our Terms of Service.
Proof approval and revisions
We do not print until you approve the proof. Approval confirms the artwork, layout, spelling, quantity, and ball selection are correct.
- Reasonable revisions to placement, scale, and file quality are part of setup.
- Substantial redesigns, new artwork, or repeated rounds of changes may add time and may be quoted separately.
- Every revision restarts the review stage, which moves production and delivery timing. See Shipping & Turnaround.
- After approval, orders are treated as custom goods. See Returns & Reprints.
Live event printing
At live activations, guests select from designs approved in advance with the organizer or sponsor. On-site output is produced quickly in a tent environment, and we prepare artwork ahead of the event so guests see consistent results.
